Awkwafina
Awkwafina has been described as an American actor and musician who started her career by performing clever rappers, which explored issues of race and sexuality with humor that was bold and witty. Then she moved on into Hollywood. The actress was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants from Forest Hills Queens her first musical experience came via the trumpet. She also received instruction in jazz and classical before delving into hip-hop as a teenager. As a student, she studied journalism as well as women's studies at college, even doing Mandarin in Beijing during a brief time. Following graduation, she decided to devote her time to music. Her track My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity on the Internet during 2012. It would later be included on her album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. It also included other sensational hits such as body-positive Queef as well as the wink-inducing hometown tour NYC Bitche$1. This latter song was directly associated with Awkwafina's NYC and 2015 travel guide. With musician and author on her resume she decided to focus on becoming the role of a third-party actor. Alongside early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk she was also featured in movies such as Neighbors 2. Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018, she scored many major roles like Dude Ocean's eight or Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she published the EP in Fina We Trust.
