Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira born May 26th, 1978 Campinas Sao Paulo Brazil. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997) are some of her most notable films. Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed as a member of The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime until March 2020. She is currently an analyst managing the Assassination Witness project as well as an integral member of the G-TOC's multilateral engagement team. In her work with GI TOC, she focuses on disappearances, assassinations and other violence of all forms in relation to illicit economies. The research area she is interested in is the effect of organized crime on the law, policies and laws relating to the human right. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) and holds an LL.M. She also holds an LL.M. in Public Law, as well as an MBA in international relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula earned a magnacum honors Bachelor's degree in Legal as well as Social Sciences at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. After working for a four-year duration at a multinational law firm, she is licensed as lawyer. In her past, she was employed in non-governmental organizations headquarters in Rio de Janeiro as well as Geneva.
