Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American actress and singer. Her parents were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier, both television news directors. She was raised and birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her birthplace was in Huntington Woods, Michigan, to the family of a Polish mother and a father that was German, English Irish, Scottish as well as Irish. Kristen found her talent in entertainment at an early age. In 1992, she was awarded her first part in the auditions for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell 13, who was 13 at the time her mother enrolled to become an agent was also cast in ads on newspapers and TV. Bell also began taking private acting classes at this time. Bell had a minor role without credit on the film Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the both the music and drama club. Bell was chosen to play the lead role of Dorothy in her high school's performance of The Wizard of Oz. Bell attended The Tisch School of the Arts which she attended to study Musical Theater in New York City. in 2001 Bell went to university and decided to play the role as Becky in Tom Sawyer. The same year she appeared in Pootie Tang, but the scene in which Bell made an appearance was cut. This meant that only her credit sequence exists. In 2002, Bell was in the Broadway production of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
